In 2021 the 53 employees of the Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC) contributed an increase of $55m in client business sales, helped create 90 new businesses, and served 2,033 Idaho businesses. The impact culminated in $774m in total output across the state of Idaho, representing a 25X return on the investments made by the organizations that supported the ID SBDC in 2021. This data is collected to be reported to stakeholders and funding sources such as the SBA, the State of Idaho, and University Hosts who support the SBDC. In order to be reported, our clients must have attributed the reported impact to the assistance provided by Idaho SBDC consultants.
