Deanna BerryThe Idaho Small Business Development Center is thrilled to announce their new Associate State Director of Finance: Deanna Berry.

Deanna Berry joined the Idaho SBDC at Boise State University as the Associate State Director of Finance on January 4th, 2021. She brings 30 years of accounting and finance experience to the Idaho SBDC from various industries including live entertainment, higher education, treasury, property management, real estate, non-profit, self-employment, and public accounting.

Deanna is a CPA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University and a Master of Science degree from Boise State University. She grew up in southern California and moved to Boise in 2003 with her husband and two young children. She soon discovered that raising a family in Boise is a wonderful adventure. Now empty-nesters, Deanna and her husband are excited to learn more about kayaking on Idaho’s lakes and rivers.

Deanna is looking forward to contributing to the Idaho SBDC State office and the six regional centers throughout Idaho and making an impact on local small businesses through her role in finance.

“Deanna joined the State office with a robust onboarding plan that will launch her into success as she serves the needs of our regional centers throughout Idaho,” said Doug Covey, Idaho SBDC state director.
